More Than 40 Companies To Exhibit In US Pavilion At Rio Oil & Gas

Brazil is an “ideal partner for U.S. companies seeking long term relationships” suggests Ambassador

More than 40 companies will display American products and services in the U.S. International Pavilion at Rio Oil & Gas Expo 2012 from September 17-20, 2012. The international trade show takes place in Riocentro Convention Center in Rio de Janerio, Brazil. 

U.S. Ambassador to Brazil, Thomas Shannon, said, “With its recent oil finds and the largest medium-term oil exploration and development investment plan in the world, the Brazilian oil and gas sector offers many excellent opportunities.” He added, “Those opportunities, coupled with Brazil’s outstanding economic prospects and long-standing friendly relations with the U.S., make Brazil an ideal partner for U.S. companies seeking long-term partnerships.”

The Opening Ceremony of the U.S. International Pavilion is scheduled for Monday, September 17 at 1:00 pm with Ambassador Shannon as Guest of Honor.

“Rio Oil & Gas typically sells out early, and this edition was no exception,” remarked Tom Kallman, president and CEO of Kallman Worldwide, organizers of the U.S. International Pavilion at the show. Exhibitors are occupying more space than ever before: the U.S. International Pavilion has increased more than 40% since 2010.
