The ANSON E-Type Gate Valve is available with hydraulic action. Valves supplied with spring return failsafe, open or closed, as well as double acting cylinders are readily available from stock
E-Type FSC and FSO
ANSON E-Type gate valves fitted with hydraulic fail safe spring return actuators are designated FSC for fail safe closed and FSO for fail safe open. They offer a flexible solution to surface safety and fail safe valve applications. The E-type FS actuated gate valves have the following features
- Linear hydraulic single acting spring return
- Normal operating pressure of 3,000psi
- Translating hydraulic cylinder
- Compact design
- Hard-chrome plated cylinder
- T-slot connection between stem and gate
- Multi-lipped pressure and spring energised stem seals
- Fully weather sealed
- Automatic backseating - fire resistant
- Twin guide bearings for stem
- Pressure relief port above valve stem packing
- No drift adjustment required to set stroke
- NACE compatible for line pressure actuation

E-Type DA and DAO
ANSON E-Type gate valves fitted with double acting hydraulic actuators are designated DA for double acting and DAO fro double acting with manual overide. The E-Type double acting gate valves have the following standard features:
- Linear hydraulic double acting
- Normal operating pressure of 1,500 psi
- Compact design
- Robust construction
- Double hydraulic seals and guides fitted to piston
- Fully weather sealed
- Simple construction with minimum number of components
