Nabors US Offshore is engaged in the drilling and workover of oil and gas wells in the U.S. Gulf of Mexico, operating 37 platform rigs, 8 drilling jack-ups, 5 workover jack-ups and 3 barge rigs. The company is known for its innovative designs, pioneering the development of several unique rigs that have played key roles in offshore drilling on the Gulf Coast.

SUNDOWNER® AND SUPER SUNDOWNER™ RIGS: Nabors US Offshore developed both the Sundowner and Super Sundowner workover and redrilling rigs. These unique rigs have a small footprint and can be rigged down, moved and rigged up in a short time, as little as one day for Sundowner rigs.

API RIGS: API self-contained rigs are designed with drilling packages for increased work area. API rigs are equipped with two cranes and require a derrick barge for installation and removal.

MODS™ RIG: Nabors US Offshore continues to roll out new models of its unique MODS rig, a small footprint, lightweight drilling rig engineered to withstand the dynamic wave action associated with deepwater SPAR and tension-leg platforms. MODS rigs have worked on more than two-thirds of these platforms in the Gulf of Mexico.

BARGE RIGS: Nabors US Offshore recently introduced Barge Rig 300 with greatly enhanced drilling capacity and reduced minimum draft. It is ideally suited for drilling the deep-horizon prospects in the shallowest waters of the Gulf of Mexico. The company will complete the construction on Rig 301 during May 2007, a posted barge rig that can operate in deeper, unprotected Gulf of Mexico waters. Like Nabors Rig 300, it will have a 7500-PSI mud system, making it one of the few rigs so equipped in the region. It will also deploy workover barge Rig 100 in April 2007.
