Turret Bearing and Mooring Systems
The turret bearing system is designed to support the turret, transmitting mooring forces to the vessel and to allow low friction rotation of the vessel. Hydralift offers two basic bearing systems, the Friction Bearing System and the Roller Bearing System. The Turret Bearing System combined with the Turret Turning and Locking System, allows for free rotation or powered orientation of the vessel in conjunction with swivel or drag chain fluid transfer systems.
Linear Chain Winches
Hydralift´s linear Chain Winches are individually designed for specified mooring chain sizes. Linear chain winches are provided for fixed and movable installations, and provide a cost-effective, low-maintenance, compact solution to vessel mooring requirements. The linear chain winches have a design life of at least 20 years, and are certified in accordance with applicable national and international legislations.
Fairleads
Underwater fairlead assemblies are sized according to the breaking-strength of the chain. Free-rotating, self-lubricating bearings are maintenance-free for the life of the field. Fairleads are retrievable for on-location repair without diver assistance.
